3. HealthKit and Health-Related Information
Motion may allow you to connect Apple HealthKit or related Apple health data sources.
If you choose to connect HealthKit, Motion may access categories of health-related data relevant to features you use, such as sleep, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, workouts, hydration-related data, and other recovery-related metrics that you authorize through Apple's permission controls.
We use HealthKit data to:
- power recovery and readiness-related features in Motion;

Where HealthKit data is used with Motion's AI features, we currently intend to send summarized, derived, or transformed metrics rather than raw HealthKit samples, and only when you explicitly use the applicable AI-powered recovery analysis feature.
